The kit including: 8 Oz (=230 grams) High Grade Red Cerium Oxide Powder . 2 x 2” (50mm) Velcro Backing Pad, M6 shread( diameter of shank is 6mm, can be hold by most of drills) 4 x 2” (50mm) Wool Felt Polishing Pad. 2 Wool Felt Polishing Wheel, Diameter: 3cm, 2cm. Sanding discs of 5 grit : 80,320,1000,3000(green), 7000(blue), each grit 5 pcs. Instruction Manual. It is easy for everyone to DIY repair damaged glass with an electric drill. This kit can be used to remove wiper blade damage, scuffs, water deposits. Can be used on any windscreen, windows or any other type of glass i.e. toughened glass, double glazed units, windows, glass doors or tables, fish tanks, aquarium It , remove scratches on watch glass,lens, mobile phones & tablet screens. It can save you great money of changing a new glass. If you can catch or feel scratches with your finger nail you must use the sanding discs first to make the deep scratch into the light scratch. If scratch is not deep, you can directly use cerium oxide powder to make glass clear.Warning！！ Many other seller copy my photo, but their cerium oxide powder is inferior and low grade ,normally light red or white color, very cheap cost 2 USD/Kg, density is half of my powder , It was called Recycled Material in glass industry，have only 50% less cerium oxide , it will waste your time and damage the glass. I use only dark red color powder ( high grade ,high density and expensive cost at 10 USD/Kg ). My powder particle size is average 3 microns with high concentration of rare earth cerium oxide to provide the best polishing.The cost of Cerium Oxide powder vary greatly because the quality is different. I am the first and biggest ,the most professional shop in Ebay, only for glass polishing products. How to use sanding discs for deep scratches: 1. Put the sanding disc on the hook and loop backing pad, use sanding disc grit 80 or 320 first for coarse polishing 2–5 minutes , you will see the deep scratch getting lighter and lighter ,at last disappear, but the glass will get many light scratch and vague. It is OK, don’t worry. (Attention: Try your best to focus on the area where the scratch is , so you will not make more new light scratch to the area where no need polish, save your time.) 2. then use grit 320 or 1000 for fine polishing ,to remove light scratch caused by the 1st step, the working area should be bigger to cover the area of 1st step, use a pen or label drawing on the back of glass to help you know where the area of scratch is . 3. Check whether the deep scratch get lighter ad lighter, then use grit 3000 or 7000 disc for a fine polishing. 4: Using which grit is decided by how light or deep you have made the scratch into, it means you no need use all of grit sanding discs. In most of case, you only need 3 grit, that is Grit 320 first, then grit 1000, at last grit 3000 (green), other grit is just for back up method if you are not skillful. 5. During the process please check the glass every 1 or 2 minutes, you will see deep scratch disappear .Glass will get many light scratch and be vague, look like fog. Now you can use cerium oxide powder to polish these light scratch: Follow below 5 steps, glass will get clear and transparent. 1. Clean the glass thoroughly. Mix some water with Cerium Oxide Powder in a tub. The ratio is 1: 1(water: powder) in weight. Use a stick to blend them thoroughly mixed to become wet paste/solution. 2. Attach the wool polishing pad to the hook and loop backing pad .Apply a small amount of the wet paste to the glass and wool polishing pad. 3. Work the polishing pad over the scratch with a electric drill.. 4. Applying more wet paste as needed. Add a little water if too dry or overheat, because excess heat will crack glass. 5. Repeat until the light scratch is no longer visible. You can find many video in YouTube to get some experience, please search “how to polish glass”. Shipment:1..
